American Vallisneria

Vallisneria americana

Vallisneria americana — an easy-to-maintain, fast-growing rosette plant with long, ribbon-like leaves reaching 50–200 cm. Ideal for beginners. Placed in the background, forming dense thickets. Does not require CO₂ injection or additional fertilization, tolerates a wide range of water parameters (18–30 °C, pH 6–9). Propagates by runners. Leaves are stiff and usually not eaten by herbivorous fish.
