We are building Fishies to bring reliable information about aquarium fish, plants, invertebrates, and other aquatic organisms into one place — from water and tank requirements to behaviour and compatibility.
Our goal is to make aquarium keeping easier to understand and species choices more deliberate, helping beginners avoid common mistakes and experienced aquarists find structured information faster.

Fishies is more than a species list. Its cards bring together water parameters, temperature, suitable tank size, adult size, feeding, behaviour, difficulty, reproduction, compatibility, and other important care requirements.

Choose inhabitants for a particular aquarium
Match aquarium conditions
A reader can enter known conditions such as volume, height, temperature, pH, GH, KH, heating, CO₂, and lighting. Fishies can then compare those conditions with species requirements.
Check species compatibility
As organisms are added to a planned aquarium, the system can account for species already selected and exclude incompatible options or those that do not fit the available conditions.
